***Festivals de las Mascaras***
Attendance: 2000
1) Dinamic Black & Ray Marin b Alan Extreme & Muerte Infernal 3rd Fall (posted by Arion Luchador)
Ray Marin and Muerte Infernal were replacements for Nino Tormenta and Karibe King - those two are Fray Tormenta trainees, so probably the other two are as well.
2) Aracnido, Eterno, Jack b Capitán Muerte, El Hijo del Diablo, Fuego Eterno
Freelance, Segura, Cerebro Negro and Dr. Cerebro were listed in this match. 3 of those guys were over in IWL. Fuego Eterno & Aracnido look like someone's trainees. First match here for Jack in a while.
3) Cuchillo, Kahoz, Rambo b Coco Rojo, El Brazo, Veneno
Brazo replaced Bobby Lee Jr. Makes sense why Veneno worked the IWL opener now - he managed to get to both shows.
4) Fray Tormenta, Pantera, Solar I b Black Terry, Negro Navarro, Scorpió Jr.
Tecnicos took 1/3. There was a bit with Pantera and the lucha commission over Pantera wearing his mask lately. Commissioner wanted him to take it off, Pantera pointed out this was the one show where he didn't have to.
5) Canek, Konnan, Rayo de Jalisco Jr. DQ Cien Caras, Máscara Año 2000, Universo 2000 Alt part 1 (posted by Arion Luchador) Alt part 2 (posted by Arion Luchador) Alt part 3 (posted by Arion Luchador) Dr. Landru part 1 (posted by alfonso lizarraga) Dr. Landru part 2 (posted by alfonso lizarraga)
Canek was the surprise partner of Konnan and Rayo. Konnan was 'injured' early on, giving the rudos the advantage. Tecnicos eliminated Universo 2000, but he came back in for the DQ. Konnan returned to make the save, but actually turned on the tecnicos.

1) Rolling Boy & Tritón b Anubis & Keshin Black *
First match for Anubis here since 2009, assuming it's the same guy.
2) Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro DQ Angélico, Black Terry, Multifacético *
Straight falls for the Oficials when Multifacetico gave 911 a martinete for the DQ. Mask match is 10 days away. First match here for Angelico in a year and a half.
3) Trauma I b Hijo de LA Park [IWRG JUNIORS] * (posted by )
Plenty of mask ripping - Trauma I was pretty much wrestling unmasked by the end of this. Trauma I laid LA Park out with a cradle DDT in the third for the three count, though Hijo de LA Park visibly kicked out at 2.5. Everyone argued about it after the match.
4) Canek, Negro Navarro, Trauma II b Barba Roja, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan *
Pirates took fall 1, Team Navarro took fall 2. Pirata Sr. pinned Trauma II with a foul, but Negro & Canek rallied back to win the third fall.

IWRG (SUN) 07/10/2011 Arena Naucalpan [Black Terry Jr. (flickr), Record, The Gladiatores]
1) Alan Extreme & Dark Devil jd Saruman & Tritón
There are new rules for the first two matches on these shows. Openers now have a ten minute time limit. If they reach a draw, it'll be up to the experts (Black Terry and ref Cavernas Torres) to pick the winner. They picked the rudos here.
2) Carta Brava Jr., Imposible, Keshin Black b Comando Negro, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic
Comando Negro was a replacement for Freelance and is still flirting with the tecnico side. Segundas will now be one fall 15 minute time limit matches, with the same judges decisions for tie breakers. Carta Brava beat Comando Negro with one minute left to get the win.
3) Angélico, Multifacético, Veneno DQ El Hijo del Diablo, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro
AK47 replaced 911, who appeared in a neckbrace to explain he was still out due to the martinete he took from Multifacetico. Noble tecnico Multifacetico attacked 911, hitting him in the head. Security took 911 to the back. Rudos won the first, tecnicos won the second. AK-47 was hurt on Angelico dive in the third. Veneno was about to finish Diablo, but Avisman and a new masked man ran in for the DQ. Diablo announced that the masked man was Kid USA, the new member of Los Gringos VIP. Golden Magic and Dinamic Black ran in for the save, and declared they were forming their own group, Los Revolucionarios.
4) Pantera © b Último Gladiador [IWRG Rey del Ring]
Pantera is still wearing his mask. The two agreed to a technical match. It didn't stay that way. Ultimo Gladiador own the first, Pantera took the second. Hijo del Diablo, second of Ultimo Gladiador, interfered to attack Pantera. Veneno, Pantera's second, tried to stop him and was ejected by the referee. Hijo del Diablo interfered again, was caught, and ejected. Pantera won with a top rope hurracanrana.
5) Pirata Morgan & Silver King DQ LA Park & Máscara Año 2000 Jr.
Park was a tecnico tonight. Referee helped Pirata and Silver. They won 1 and 3, Pirata faking a foul from Park in the third.

Hijo de Black Man debuted and looked good.
3) Angélico, Centvrión, Multifacético b Barba Roja, Hijo de LA Park, Pirata Morgan Jr. *
Centurion replaced Pantera, making a rare appearance this high on the card. Tecnicos took in straight falls, Hijo de LA Park losing to Multifacetico. Oficial 911, in a neck brace, ran out to attack him after the match, but Multifacetico nearly gave him a martinete again. Both vowed to win on Sunday.
4) Bestia 666 & Damián 666 b Máscara Año 2000 Jr. & Pantera and Trauma I & Trauma II and Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Pirata Morgan *
Pantera replaced Hijo de Mascara Ano 2000. That team was first out, followed by the Traumas (Trauma II replacing Navarro.) Bestia and Damian used a ref distraction to work in a foul and a mask pull on the Morgans for the win. Perros challenged for the IWRG tag titles, but Pirata Sr. challenged them back to an atomicos match (all the Piratas vs Bestia/Damian/Halloween/X-Fly), where the Perros get a title shot if they win.

2) Bugambilia del Norte, Dragón Fly, Saruman jd Alan Extreme, Imposible, Keshin Black * * Part 1 (posted by WarriorsX2000) Part 2 (posted by WarriorsX2000)
Judges decision for the tecnicos. (So this is going to be a regular thing!) Bugambilia is back here for the first time since January.
3) Centvrión, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic b Carta Brava Jr., King Drako, Polifacético *
Carta Brava Jr. was strechered out after taking a knee to the chest.

5) Oficial 911 b Multifacético [mask] *
Multifacetico, continuing to wrestle as a rudo, won the first fall, but Oficial 911 came back to win the last two and the mask. The last was via a second rope powerbomb. 911 was assisted by new Oficial Spartans. Multifacetico is Jonathan Pacheco, from Mexico State, 7 years a wrestler. Magia Negra turns up as a name as early as 2003 in Acapulco, which matches up.

Event Notes: Building said to be 3/4s full.

1) Beta, Bizarro, Black Lancer, Kortiz, Máquina Infernal, Negro Casasola, Taurus, Templario b Alan Extreme, Centvrión, Dragón Fly, Fresero Jr., Rolling Boy, Saruman, Tonatiuh, Tritón [Copa High Power] * TV Part 3 (posted by decadas80s90s2000)
Final two in were Fresero Jr. and Maquina Infernal. Infernal had both Villano IV and V interfering for him and got the win. Crazy Boy intruded after the match, challenging the IWRG kids to a Copa High Power vs the AAAcadmey students. That'll happen at some later date.
2) Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo, Kid USA b Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Spartans [lumberjack strap] * * Part 1 (posted by WarriorsX2000) Part 2 (posted by WarriorsX2000)
The debuting Kid USA looks suspiciously like an IWRG trainee in a mask. Oficial Spartans, also debuting, replaced AK47, who had an arm in a sling last Sunday.
3) Carta Brava Jr., Comando Negro, Eterno b Centvrión, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic *
Centurion replaced Bobby Lee Jr., and took the loss to Comando Negro.
4) Black Terry & Pantera b Negro Navarro & Pirata Morgan * (posted by Powerbomb.TV)
Pantera replaced Solar, which is probably the reason they actually had a finish. He did not wear his mask for this match, but he also wore someone else's gear so he might have just been a late sub. (Though one would think they had plenty of Pantera gear there.) Pirata Morgan submitted Panter for the win
5) Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., Trauma I, Ultramán Jr. DQ Hijo de LA Park, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Máscara Año 2000 Jr. *
Team Morgan won the first, and Trauma I beat Morgan to tie it up. Wagner fouled Park and faked his own foul in the third, and the refs gave it to him.
6) Silver Kain © b Electroshock [IWRG IC HEAVY] *
Electroshock won the first, the cutter actually working for a three count for once. Silver tied it up with some help from his second (Chessman). Chessman kept getting involved in the third fall. Electroshock got a 'rana, Chessman snuck in and turned it over, and Silver hung on top for the three count. Electro and Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. (his second) complained post match.

Event Notes: Show was preceded by a exhibition by Bombero Infernal's students. Black Terry, Negro Navarro and Grillo were honored.

1) Alan Extreme & Imposible b Rolling Boy & Saruman
2) Bugambilia del Norte, Dragón Fly, Tritón DQ Carta Brava Jr., King Drako, Polifacético
Reached the fifteen minute time limit, but the rudos kept attacking, so they were just disqualified.
3) Black Terry, Centvrión, Turbo DQ Dr. Cerebro, Oficial Fierro, Oficial Spartans
Centurion, Turbo, and Oficial Spartans replaced Argos, Bobby Lee Jr., and Oficial AK47. Black Terry and Dr. Cerebro are no longer friends and are feuding. Cerebro fouled Terry for the DQ.
4) Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo, Kid USA b Dinamic Black, Golden Magic, Veneno
Xion joined the Gringos for the US national anthem. Tecnico trio represents the Revolucionarios. Kid USA used a ref distraction to hit Veneno with a bottle, and Diablo got hte pin.

Rudos took the first, tecnicos took the second, Wagner dived on Park in the third while Angelico & Multifacetico beat Xion & 911 for the win.

1) Alan Extreme & Dark Devil b Dragón Fly & Rolling Boy
2) Comando Negro, Imposible, Keshin Black b Bugambilia del Norte, Hijo de Black Man, Miss Gaviota
3) Angélico, Argos, Bobby Lee Jr. b Dr. Cerebro, Mortiz, Semental
Must've been very odd for Argos to fight Mortiz & Semental!
4) Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Pirata Morgan © b Bestia 666 & Damián 666 [IWRG IC TAG]
Pirates took 1, Perros took 2. Crowd was behind the Morgans in the third fall. Challengers eliminated Hijo del Pirata with a double valagueza. Pirata eliminated Bestia, Bestia still distracted the ref, Damian fouled Pirata, but Pirata kicked out two. Damian argued the count, and Pirata cradled him for the win. Morgans want a trios title shot in exchange.

IWRG (SUN) 07/31/2011 Arena Naucalpan [Al Filo del Ring, The Gladiatores]
1) Black Sky & Rolling Boy b Dark Devil & Muerte Infernal
2) Dragón Fly & Tritón b Alan Extreme & Keshin Black
Said to be a very good match.
3) Carta Brava Jr., Comando Negro, Imposible b Bugambilia del Norte, Miss Gaviota, Saruman
Miss Gaviota replaced Argos, who was listed here twice. Rudos took 2/3.
4) Barba Roja, Bombero Infernal, Polifacético b Black Terry, el Ángel, Pantera
Politifacetico was dressed as a clown. Angel replaced the terminally missing Bobby Lee Jr. Dr. Cerebro ran in and attacked now-ex friend Black Terry to give the rudos the ring. Terry and both Cerebros are now feuding.
5) Multifacético b Dr. Cerebro, Oficial 911, Angélico & Veneno, Oficial Fierro, Oficial AK47, El Hijo del Diablo, Avisman, Argos, Apolo Estrada Jr., Centvrión, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic, Hammer, Fresero Jr. [High Power]
Dr. Cerbero and Fresero Jr. joined the rudo Grupo de los Ocho, one replacing Kid USA (same time as the IWL PPV, though I have no idea what I'm bringing that up) and one being the name left off last week. Hammer did make it over here from IWL and Argos worked this match, both as part of the tecnico Revolucionaries. Fresero Jr. feuded with Veneno, and was eliminated when Diablo & Los Oficials turned on him. Rudos came back to beat Hammer, Golden Magic, and Dynamic Black. Final four were Angelico, Multifacetico, Dr. Cerbero, and Oficial 911. Angelico missed a top rope move, hurt his knee, and 911 defeated him. Multifacetico got 911 with a Spanish Fly. Dr. Cerbero was about to finish Multifacetico when Black Terry distracted him, and Multifacetico got a backcracker for the win.
